Dr. Moody E. Altamimi is the founding director for the Office of Research  Excellence (ORE) at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). ORE’s  mission is to advance ORNL’s science and innovation culture by fostering an  inclusive ecosystem for thriving research careers and impactful student  experiences, facilitating strategic engagement with leading institutions, and  providing global research insights to support ORNL’s aspiration to be the  world’s premier R&D institution. Dr. Altamimi earned her M.S. and Ph.D. in  computer science from the George Washington University in Washington,  DC.
